WE HAD A SECRET WEAPON – MEREDITH!

Let's face it; no one actually wants to move. The process of leaving the familiar, one's whole life packed in boxes, all with the hope that this new house will eventually represent home, can be quite daunting. That is, if you are fortunate enough to navigate the often-tricky process of selling your home at the correct price, in the first place. So when my wife and I discussed helping her family sell their home, I can honestly say that while optimistic, I was certainly not thrilled. Fortunately for us, we had a secret weapon, Meredith! Over the course of two months, she spearheaded a series of home improvements and minor refurbishing, everything from opening up a few wall units for better space and flow, to a thorough restoration of the wooden floors, drawing attention to their undeniable craftsmanship.
Meredith's eye for detail and unwillingness to accept anything less than perfection was unyielding. It was as if this was her own family's home and she was determined to get them the price they deserved. She was never less than 100% honest with us about what to expect, carefully outlining what might inhibit us from making the best possible sale. Of course, after only a few months, including those spent refurbishing, the house sold and for a price with which we were more than happy. As she has proven many times before, Meredith's passion for her work, and for life itself, combined with the diligence and honesty so often neglected in business today, make her not only a great realtor, but also a great friend!
